To permanently remove a requirement, the particular template must be made "Obsolete". 


Click on "My Templates" on the Admin panel  on the left hand side and go to the template that you need to make inactive. 


Click on "OPTION" dropdown button located on the right hand side for the particular template.

Select "OBSOLETE" on the dropdown menu. 


This will remove the requirement permanently and cannot be enforced anymore. Further, all assignments in progress for this templates will be reverted back. If a user that was assigned this template has not completed the task given in the template, then by making the template Inactive, will de-assign that task and the user will no longer be required to complete the task. The task will no longer appear as pending in the user's task panel. 


If a requirement that was obsoleted needs to be made active again, the admin needs to create a "New Version" of the template by following the same process above and  selecting "New Version".

Note: Once a template is obsoleted as above, it cannot be assigned again automatically or on demand until it is made active again.
