In order to make a requirement not applicable to anyone, the template needs to be made "Inactive".

Click on "My Templates" on the Admin panel  on the left hand side and go to the template that you need to make inactive.

Click on "OPTION" dropdown button located on the right hand side for the particular template.

Select "EDIT" on the dropdown menu.

Select the last tab titled "ACTIVATION"

Select "NOT NOW".

This will make the template Inactive and it will not be enforced anymore. Further, all assignments in progress for this templates will be reverted back. If a user that was assigned this template has not completed the task given in the template, then by making the template Inactive, will de-assign that task and the user will no longer be required to complete the task. The task will no longer appear as pending in the user's task panel.

In order to re-activate the templates, follow the same process as above and make the template active in the "ACTIVATION" tab.

In order to remove a requirement permanently, the template needs to be made "Obsolete". Please visit Making Template "Obsolete" page at: https://focus451.freshdesk.com/en/support/solutions/articles/47001155208-remove-a-requirement-permanently-making-template-obsolete-

Note: While this action will remove all auto-assignments, the template could still be assigned by a manager "ON DEMAND".
